2026: The Year of the Fire Horse

 

Today is the start of the Chinese New Year - the year of the Fire Horse. Today is a day of new beginnings and a fresh start. As a pagan with Chinese ancestry, this is an important time for me to reassess my spirituality and prepare for the year ahead.

However, as I delve deeper into the study of Taoism, I've come to realise that I can learn a lot of the principles and ideals just from observing my 3-year old staffy/Shar pei rescue who seems to have a handle on life.
